An item has multiple units, which is independent of each other. and its not static; it may change anytime we enter the data. Is it possible to enter multiple units for an item?

For eg: Consider timber merchandise, handling the 'timber-hardwood' item. Its having 2 units; one in cubic feet and the second in volume So the item is defined as 30cubic feet and 20volume for the same item. As these not compound units its independent of each other and if i edit that item then the unit may be change (eg: 30 cubic feet = 25 volume). And when we add this item there should be a chance to enter both units for the same item. So can we handle such multiple units in Open ERP?
