i want to know if we can set digital signatures for documents that we send for approvals to admin or HOD .
is this available by default or we need to customize the same.

does this work in enterprise edition of version 10.
if you are using odoo v10 Enterprise, they provide the digital signature functionality

You should not use the admin user for operational purposes.
yes you are correct the user will have manager access not actual admin access. That is why i mentioned HOD user in my question.
so basically this user user will be a manager.
