Archive multiple contacts through Import option

Question

Is there a way to archive multiple contacts in one go through Import?
I can export contact list and update tags or other fields then import but haven't found archive option or field can be updated. any advice

You can export the list of records in Hr Contact with fields [Active	External ID]and you will find their field of Active to be TRUE, make them FALSE and import

Hi,
Yes, it is possible to archive records through the Import function. Please follow the steps below:
Export all the records that you want to archive, including the external ID and the field 'active'.
Once
you have downloaded the XLS file, locate the 'active' column and change
the values to 0 for the selected records. Import the modified file back
into the system. The imported records will now be archived.
