I have Odoo 18.

I'm trying to add different products, but I need to specify the price, including VAT, and by default it lets me enter the price without VAT.

This isn't convenient for me because I want to set a visually pleasing RRP, not one with strange decimals (a result of calculating VAT).

How can I change it so that when defining the product's sales price, it already includes the value with VAT included?

Hi,

We are able to offer things in Odoo with both tax-included and tax-excluded prices. It's simple to set up.

* Accounting > Configuration > Settings

* Under the tax section, there is 'Sales Taxes'. Click on the external link, and under the 'Advanced Options', there is a field named 'Included in Price'.

* Select 'Tax included' from the drop-down.

For more details, you can refer to the following link.

Hope it helps

Hi,

it's a tax configuration issue.

You have to create or activate a tax configuration that include the tax in the price.

To do so, you'll have to go to the Account App --> Settings --> accounting - Tax configuration
Set the "Tax included" in you tax configuration.

After, you'll have to set this tax in your product.
