We are currently searching for a highly motivated candidate to
join our Accounting team in San Francisco!
What we expect
Staff Accountant will be responsible for full cycle accounts payable, full cycle accounts receivable, full cycle credit card transactions, process partner commission vendor bills, support the month-end close, and monitoring general accounting practices. They will also have the opportunity to improve accounting processes, closing processes and financial control.
This person reports to the Head of Finance. This position is based in San Francisco, CA and requires no travel.
Enter vendor bills into Odoo accounting system with appropriate documentation, ensure correct coding of expenses, and facilitate bill approval and payment
Respond and solve to vendor and internal inquiries related to bills and payments
Operations and monthly close of credit card including gather receipts, code and reconcile credit card statements
Create and reconcile customer invoices and vendor bills with statements
Monitor ERP system and report bugs/issues and offer feedback to the internal ERP team
Review and manage aged payable and aged receivable balances
Assist with month-end close by preparing and documenting prepaid expense, accrued expense and other closing related journal entries
Participate in the design and implementation of company policies, including accounting processes based on best practices
Produce Accounting reports and assist with special projects, as needed
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- At least 1 year of experience creating and editing videos, preferably within a SaaS company
Must be tech friendly person
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google suite
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Able and willing to learn an entirely new accounting software and ERP system
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Must be a self-starter and willing to assume ownership of assigned projects and duties
Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly
