About the Job
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) – Brisbane, CA
To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience working within an accounting or CPA firm, preferably managing the accounting operations for multiple clients simultaneously.
As an Accounting Consultant focused on accounting firms, your role is pivotal in driving the adoption of Odoo as the first software solution on the market where accounting firms and their clients collaborate on a common platform. You'll be at the forefront of business development efforts, strategically positioning Odoo as the go-to choice for accounting firms seeking to evolve from accountants into trusted business advisors.
During your initial weeks, you will be immersed in learning and training on Odoo’s technology, implementation methodology, and organizational philosophy. Next, you will build on these lessons by creating Odoo’s first Accounting firm-focused team in North America. This is an exciting opportunity to build processes, workflows, and a dynamic team from the ground up while benefiting from a stable organization with resources and award-winning technology.

Responsibilities
- Business Development: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to elevate Odoo's suite of apps' reputation within the corporate accounting community. Research and develop new features that will enhance Odoo’s competitiveness in this space
- Implementing Odoo: Analyze accounting firms and their client's needs, design tailored solutions, and configure workflows to streamline processes and enhance efficiency for accounting firms.
- Partners Management: Actively support the growth of Odoo's partner network, empowering accounting firms worldwide to become certified Odoo Experts.
- Training: Demonstrate Odoo's capabilities through specialized knowledge and continuous internal and external training.
- Product Improvement: Your job has an impact! Collaborate with Product Owners to convey customer and partner feedback. Be highly involved in the Odoo Experience, our annual event.

Must Have
- Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's Preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a Fiduciary/Accounting/CPA Firm, with responsibilities encompassing managing accounting for multiple clients, including but not limited to tasks such as preparing financial information for audits, generating reports, and completing fiscal forms for IRS presentations
- 2+ years of relevant experience in software/ERP implementation, project management, client consulting, or similar roles aligned with the responsibilities of this position.
- An affinity with the Information Technology world, you understand the use cases of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software)

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $90,000-$110,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
