V16 replentishment question

Question

I have a component that shows 9 in stock. I have created a manufacturing order for a part that uses that component, The product page for the component says 9 in stock 8.5 forecast (The manufactured part uses .5). I look at the MO in the inventory overview and it shows under reserved available, so I figure it is OK to pick. I look at the pick components queue and the MO shows late. When I select it there to pick it shows demand .5 but nothing reserved. I click check availability nothing changes. If I validate the picking I get the you cannot transfer if no quantities are reserved. I do not see how to reserved this quantity. The MO was planned. What have I missed?

If the product (component) is tracked using lot or serial number, the picking is probably missing that detail to record the moves

Hello,
In odoo there are three types of Reservation Methods.
1. At Confirmation – Reserve the product only when the Sales Order is confirmed.
2. Manually – Manually want to check the availability to Reserve the required quantity of products.
3. Before scheduled date – Only reserve ‘X’ days before the scheduled date. You can mention the number of days before the scheduled date to reserve products.
