New to Odoo, I have failed to find how to personnalize emailing campaign contents, for instance with the first & last name of the recipient. In other platforms (eg. Mailchimp) this is called merge tags and is very useful.
Have I missed something in the videos?

I believe you are talking about what we call placeholders, in Odoo.
For V13, I invite you to check this doc: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/14.0/discuss/advanced/email_template.html.
For V14, the option is more explicit and it is shown on the mailing form itself once the developer mode is activated.
