For 70% of our products a 1-step recieve is the necessery use.
--> Since we take down from the van and store it already (side stock/main stock) (same worker)

But for the other 30% we would require a 2-step recieve.
--> We take down from van and put on place A.
--> Employee 2 needs to know it's avaiable and he then comes to get the material and store in his stock. (2 workers)

I've seen there is a possibility to put 1-step / 2-step based on product categories! That would already be perfect for us. But I tested it and it seems not to be working :(

The warehouse is set to 1-step recieve standard.
The product category then is set to 2-step recieve which creates a internal transfer.
But whenever I buy those product it's always 1-step and not 2-step for this setup category as it should be.
In the purchase I only buy 1 product at the time, so it's not complex but it still doesnt work properly.

What can I do to fix this problem, is there a solution?

You set 1 step on warehouse and 2 step for some categories. So, what is the outcome you are currently getting?

is it 1 step or 2 step?

is your order contains items that should be handled in 1 step and 2 step?

hope this info will help those are trying to reproduce your case.

What I actually get is 1-step all the time when using this setup it never creates a 2-step recieve.

My order is simple it only contains 1 product either 1-step or 2-step but not both.
