We recently switched from Odoo 13 to Odoo 15, but one of the new features is that you can now see the difference between the on hand quantity of a product and the counted quantity. But why does Odoo set everything to 0? I know we have to press 'Set' to actually apply it, but our warehouse staff finds it very confusing and I don't know why Odoo does this. I can't find any documentation on this as well.

while set a new inventory adjustment it keeps the counted quantity 0 To allow the user to set the new count either manual or via barcode reader and to allow you to apply the count or modify it as per user authority
the point is that count it should be 0 by logic to set the updated count plus there is another column the on-hand quantity indicates the last product move records

Also, by selecting multiple lines, you can 'apply' them all at once.
