I would like to provide different information on a website, but only to registered visitors. They are no customers, but maybe they will belong to this group, after they decide to buy anything some day.....
How are the possibilities to offer such portal users an automated self registration with EMail and phone (SMS) verification?

I believe, I have found the half answer to my questions now by myself (before I was wrong in my search efforts....) with these Forums-postings:
