Hi everyone, hope you are all in good condition.


I have a client that using Point of Sale on Odoo13 Community Edition that have many of custom module that related to their business.


My questions is, should I migrate their Odoo13 CE Point of Sale to Odoo14 CE Point of Sale..?

Or should I just use the current 13 version?


What is difference between Odoo13 Point of Sale with Odoo14 Point of Sale?

Is that just different on the user interface or any other different like performance or speed..?

Please give me insight what should I do :)

Hello Tri Nanda, 

If your client wants to use feature of odoo14, then you have to migrate your custom module to odoo14.

I see there are some additional features that added on Odoo14 Point of Sales,

But, how about it performance?, like speed?
and is there any issue like double receipt, missing receipt, first loading when opening POS is slow and when closing POS and validate it too slow?

Hello Tri nanda,

I am already use odoo 14 features and I didn't see any minus point. Regarding to speed and time it's depend on your server but odoo 14 pos doesn't take longer time for load. 

Contact us if you want to migrate your modules from odoo13 to odoo14 or meed any support.
