Hi. I am new to here. I am confused by difference between entreprise and community version. I understand if i download community, I need code for all apps, but if I buy entreprise, do I still some coded?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management

Thanks of these answers.. It gets to me think that have same function of odoo community than enterprise. But certain points are little different, and still I am thinking get more control by install it on my self...Does Community good for starting?
If the provided Odoo functionality (this goes for both Community and Enterprise) does not completely meet your needs, you'll somehow have to change things.
These changes can happen with the web interface (Developer mode: you can do quite a lot, but you need to know how), or with custom apps/modules. The first case is not really programming (to a certain point), the second case definitely is.
In both cases, some understanding of the Odoo data model, some XML and Python basics are very useful.
Odoo Enterprise supposes that you install Odoo on your premises, therefore you need to install the code on your server. With buying Odoo Enterprise, you get access to the private Enterprise code repository, while with Odoo Community you only have access to the public community code repository. If you do not want to install Odoo yourself, you can buy Odoo Online (SaaS), see the information about hosting types here: https://www.odoo.com/pricing
