Hello, I am new to OpenERP Community, can someone guide me about UOM (Unit of Measurement) and UOS (Unit of Sale) in opnerp7.0 web client. What is the difference between the two? how does it works?

Thanks in advance..

Hi,

https://doc.openerp.com/v7.0/book/5/5_14_Stock/5_14_Stock_mvts/#packaging-with-various-logistics-units-of-measure
This link may help you. UoM is actual unit of measurement of Product you are dealing with. And UoS is the Unit of Product in which you are selling the product.
For example, you buy some product in Kg.(UoM), and selling in gm. (UoS).
Hope this information may help you.

I am removing this because it is not an 'answer'. You can 'comment' on any of the answers, and you can 'vote' or 'mark correct' them, but using the answer to comment like you have isn't how the site was designed.
