Does someone has an idea of the possible use of the date field made available in the geolocalization for partners?

Hi,
As far as my understanding it has no role. The field Date is just added in view. It is not used any where else.
See the field declaration and the function of the button Geolocate (geo_localize) .
Hope you will see this,. just added the above image for the others who see this
