I am building my website but I'll need several days.
As long as I'm working on it, how do I settle the website "under maintenance" to avoid anyone, except myself, from reaching it?

Please note:
- Odoo Online V17.0
- I don't want to put a fake homepage as a placeholder with "under maintenance" text because anyone can just type the URL and find pages behind the placeholder page.

Thank you

Bump this because I'm having the same troubles

Hi people,

Same issue here!

It's very anoying to find your site on google, although nothing has been published yet..

I now managed to give "404 - not found" for most of the pages, but header and footer are always there.
And still: everybody can see sections for blogs and appointments, even if none are published (they're just empty, but not possible to deactivate).

Did somebody find a better way?

How to unpublish the shop(ecommerce) page?

Thanks, but I need to "unpublish" the whole website.
It seems weird there is not such a basic function as a "maintenance mode".
I see several plugins can be purchased for Odoo's versions other than ONLINE, but what about those working on Odoo Online as myself?

On each page, you will have the option to Unpublish.
But I am not sure about any other option to put the whole website under maintenance with a single click. Maybe you can wait for others to answer.

Hello,

You can Unpublish that page. So, nobody will be able to see except the Internal users.

Flagging "Upublished" will only not-publish updates the user is doing on a webpage.
It will not unpublish what has been published before de-flagging.
Also, the header and footer will still be visible to anyone.

Therefore, no "unpublished" function is definitely not working.

Thanks for your feedback.
