Hello,

I have searched for other answers but haven't found anything that fixes this yet. I have built a website with Odoo and have set a custom favicon, company logo on the page, and a custom social share logo, but whenever I test search for my website it ranks at the top on Google (huzzah) but not on Bing (boo) but the icon shown next to the indexed item is still the Odoo "purple ring" logo, and not my own.

Our logo shows on a browser tab when on the page.

Our logo shows on the website itself.

The Odoo logo shows next to the ranked item on a good search

The Odoo logo shows next to a bookmark

The logos are of varying sizes for each place it is assigned. 96x96 PNG for the favicon, larger for the others.

Have I missed a setting somewhere? Is it a logo format issue preventing Google picking it up?

I'm not sure what version of Odoo I'm on, or how to tell, but "the latest" is what I would assume.

I have tested this on Firefox, Chrome, and Edge to much the same effect. I've also tested Google, Bing, and Duck Duck Go, which leads me to belive it is an Odoo-side problem, rather than browers or search engine quirks.

I'm a bit confused. This post allegedly has one reply according to the post page, I received an email to tell me such, and it has been marked as resolved but I cannot see any replies?

There's been a user randomly posting AI generated content, i.e. copy your question into a ChatGPT promt and this is/was your "answer".
Based on your question - I would assume your page got crawled by search engine bots prior to you changing the favicon. It will certainly take some time until bots revisit your pages and recognize the change in favivon. I'm afraid you can't do much but wait - https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl could be an option for you.
