Hey all togehter!


I have a question regarding the Domain of my Website wich i´ve made with the odoo website Builder.


I´ve set up an Digital Ocean Server to host odoo with apache 2 server. 

i´ve bought the domain with the German Domain seller Strato

I m not able to bring my website online, it is a mass. 

Thinks i´ve allready done. 


Digitial ocean DNS records - A record hostname directs to the IP

Strato DNS a Record directs to the IP 

i Searched the internet but couldn´t find anything.


proberbly i missed something so i would really appriciate help here.

Hi Alexender

There are a lot of things should be done in your web service configuration file in the server to connect your IP to your domain 

If you are using nginx as web service you need to tell nginx when I hit this domain name it should direct me to this IP

on other side you have to define in your domain provider which IP address connected to this domain
