Hi,

Here is the process :

Batch production. The customer order products and the shipment is made every week. The customer can order less than the batch size.

I need to know if it is possible thanks to OpenERP, to force the picker to pick products following the FIFO rules ?

  • So, how it is possible to distinguish different batch in the Warehouse module ? For the moment, I think that when a batch is produce, it only add new items to the previous one in Quantity on Hand.
  • Furthemore, is it possible to create picking list with item to be picked (in our case the first in) and the exact location in the warehouse (rack, row, case) ?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks you for your answer but I don't find those modules (openerp.com/apps).

I found that it is possibile to track lots with serial number. Is there any way to link to storage location in the warehouse thanks to this serial number rather than the product. Currently, I can define the rack, row and case in the product but what I want to do is to define rack row and case for each serial number

Thanks in advance
