We want finished units to read at zero decimals (ex: 3 units on hand) but want SOME sub-components to read at 3 decimals if they're stocked in lineal feet (ex: .006 ft of bar stock consumed per unit manufactured).

I tried the "developer" mode decimal settings under "technical - database structure - decimal accuracy" and tried editing via settings in "Inventory" and thus far haven't found a combination allowing this.
