Hello,

In a marketing automation campaign, let's say that, after sending a first Email, I want to send the  follow up Email 1 to the participants who didn't open the first Email, and the follow up Email 2 to the ones who opened the first Email, but didn't clicked on the link that was inside.

My question is: If I chose the child activity "Not clicked", does the list also include the participants that didn't open the first Email? In the above scenario, we obviously don't want participants to receive both follow up Email 1 and follow up Email 2.

Hi,

If you choose the option "not clicked" for a Marketing Automation activity, it doesn't necessarily mean that the email wasn't opened. It could also indicate that the recipient opened the email but didn't click on any links.

So if you need to create a child activity for follow-up when the participants open and for the participants not open, you can create a child activity for the same first mail as the example below

Hope it helps
