We have recently started using Odoo and some features are great, some features around field service are lacking. I'm hoping there is a work around.
We automatically create field service tasks from a sales order and then schedule those tasks using the Gantt view in field service as it is easy to see what it available for each staff member each day. Example of the problem we are facing if a task is scheduled 2 weeks ago but isn't completed on the day its is scheduled (waiting for parts to arrive) we can't reschedule the same task in the future from the Gantt view as it is already scheduled. So we need to go back and find the task, unscheduled it then reschedule in Gantt view. We could create a new task but then it won;t be linked to the open sales order and can have double ups of labour as many of the tasks are for a set amount of time.
Perhaps there is a simpler way to do this?
