In earlier versions, you could change the sequence in ir.sequence in the configuration menu with admin rights.
In v15 (community) I don't find the sequence so how do you change it so you can continue with the sequence you used in the previous software package you used?

In Odoo 15 you must resequence the invoice once you have created it; you can select the invoice and click on this action, then resequence and this sequence will stay.

Sidenote: you can only find this action in the list view in the dropdown menu that shows after selecting 1 or more records.
this function is already available in v14!
Guys i need to rename its Prefix any idea how to do it from front end??
If you only want to change the prefix, you can do it in the configurations of the journal, in the field "Code". Each journal has its own prefix.
Hello talha, just change the sequence as described in the previous answer and only change the prefix and leave the rest as is. if it's version 15.
For version 14 I'm not sure
