We have 1 warehouse and 1 stock. But we have 2 types of business (business A and B). For now both business have separate products, but this is going to change. We've noticed that there are two warehouses and stocks. Is it possible to have only 1 stock but 2 business?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

Hi, Thank you for your swift reply!
At this moment we are using Odoo for business A. stock is already implemented on products.
Now we would like to add business B to the same database, so we created a new business in Odoo.
We can now select products available for both businesses, but from business B inventory is 0 for all products.
Do you know how to solve? Thanks in advance!
BR, Roze
Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have only one stock and warehouse for both Business A and B in Odoo. Here are the steps to achieve this:
*Create Product Categories:
First, create two separate product categories, one for Business A and one for Business B. You can create these in the "Inventory" module by selecting "Product Categories" and clicking "Create".
*Assign Products to Product Categories:
Next, assign each product to the appropriate product category. You can do this by editing the product record and selecting the appropriate category.
*Create Sales Teams:
In order to track sales and revenue for each business separately, create two sales teams in the "Sales" module, one for Business A and one for Business B.
*Assign Sales Teams to Customers:
Assign each customer to the appropriate sales team based on their business.
*Set Default Sales Team:
Set the default sales team for each product category based on the business it belongs to.
*Use Analytic Accounts:
Create two separate analytic accounts, one for Business A and one for Business B, to track revenue and expenses for each business.
*Set Default Analytic Account:
Set the default analytic account for each product category based on the business it belongs to.
By following these steps, you can use a single warehouse and stock for both businesses, while still tracking revenue and expenses separately for each business.
Regards.
