I had a MO opened yesterday morning and completed during the day. The MO was left active instead of being closed per normal process. I came in this morning and the timer was still ticking away. When the associate completed the MO this morning there is now 18+ hours in additional cost added to the MO.

1. Is there a way to back this out without adjusting the cost field?

I need to keep the Operational cost in line with actuals and simply adjusting the cost field doesn't     correct the Operational cost at the MO level.

2. Is there a way to have a warning arise when the MO timer passes the upper limit of time expectations? This would allow me to see what is happening, delays due to person/machine/process/etc.

You can update the "to" portion of the "Planned Date" while the MO is still open and even after it is closed.
