I'm new to odoo and I've added alot of data (i.e. contacts, coa, banks, products, etc) and I've been testing with records to see how the flow works and such. Is it possible to delete all the records while retaining all that data when I actually go live?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Hi,
What you have to do is that, get a duplicate of the database and have all the test there. Now this is not possible, just you can do is that either manually delete all records other than the Customers products etc, and clean the database.
Else you can export the required data and import it in the new database, where you can start everything from the 1 when you go live.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply, I've thought about importing, but as the Contacts database is huge and has links to contacts/shipping&invoice address, it would actually freeze the import from the parent child computation.
I've also tried deleting, but atm, im already unable to delete stock moves after a done delivery.
better you can create a negative/ opposite move for it, to cancel its effect
