Hi there,

I´m looking for an "easy" or at least possible way to transfer around 50.000 unique serial numbers from over 500 different warehouse locations (e.g. WH/Stock/Sales/109/9025) to one other location (WH/Stock/Sales) inside the same warehouse. Goal is to make our real warehouse much more flexible and to make the work in Odoo faster for our employees. Searching for the right location consumes a lot of time and is just not necessary.

Any good ideas how to handle this? 

I tried it with the inventory adjustment, but there I have to add a new line for each location change I want to do and for each new line I have to select the correct product and the correct serial number for this product by hand. So it would be faster with "update qty on hand" instead.

Thanks in advance for your ideas. Oh and may an important info: I´m not a programmer, so I can only use the tools Odoo Enterprise V11 offers me.

The Internal Stock Transfer is the normal option (no debug or multiple warehouses needed to see it at my database), but takes a lot of time with over 50000 unique serial numbers.

There is no other way?

I was hoping for a way to import the data and Odoo will do it by itself. Maybe it is somehow possible to show a line for each serial number at the inventory adjustment? That would save a lot of time too.

Please use the Internal Stock Transfer screen .

menu : Inventory --> Dashboard

You can see this after enable the  'Manage Multiple Warehouses' group to admin/any user

In debug mode you can see this group
