I understand that for a picking, the "Scheduled Date" field is calculated as either the minimum or maximum "date_expected" field of each line. I currently have it set as the maximum, or "Deliver when all products are in stock".

Is there any way to have the "date_expected" fields on picking lines take into account the expected receipt dates of purchase orders?

For example, say today is the 1st and I have 0 stock of a product and a PO for the product due to be received on the 5th.

If I have a delivery created today which contains the product, shouldn't the "date_expected" of that product be the 5th or after?

Whereas what is currently happening, is that if I create a delivery order, the "date_expected" is set as today, regardless of stock levels / incoming PO dates.

What I want to happen is to be able to see the "Scheduled date" of a delivery as the date all products will be in stock, accounting for purchase order dates. If there are no purchase orders currently confirmed, it should take into account the vendor delivery lead times.

Is this possible?

I also understand that the SO / Delivery dates are influenced by the "Customer Lead" time on each product. To me, this field makes no sense to be set per product - surely the "time taken to reach the customer" would depend on the distance of each customer to us (in Australia, distances between cities are huge, hence delivery times vary from a day to a week). Am I missing something with this field?
