Cannot upload PDF documents to module "web slides". "Web ->Presentations->Public (or any) channel.."..
All pdf files rejectd. jpg accepted. Bug or Settings?

Did you found solution? I am facing same issue - jpgs are fine, just pdf are loading forever. Thanks

Probably an error with you server config and not odoo.
Just test on runbot with default configuration:
200419-10-0-387b2a-all.runbot10.odoo.com/slides/slide/formulaire-swde-changement-usager-ok-2017-12
