Hello guys,

I'm using Odoo 8.0

I would like to upgrade to Odoo 13.

I was thinking about using a backup and restore method... backup all.

Install a fresh version of Odoo 13 and restore.

I can't find in the documentation if it's going to work.

Please advise.

Also, I've install a LOT of app in Odoo 8 that I don't want.

If I install Odoo 13 with less apps, is it going to be a problem?

TLDR: I'm looking to upgrade from Odoo 8 to 13 and I would like to know the easiest and cleanest way to do so.

More details:

Right now Odoo 8 is running on CentOS.

I'd like to run Odoo 13 on Ubuntu Server 20.04.
