Hey all - super new here.

Reading documentation I see I can use Units of measure - specifically around purchasing items.  I am trying to put in a product where I buy 1 box - I get 300 bags.  I set this up in the UoM screen and set Box to a reference unit of measure of 1.  Then I set up bags to be "greater than the reference Unit" of 300.

Now when I create the product - it won't let me choose "box" - and under purchasing tab - I can set 1, but won't let me set "box" as the UoM.

What am I missing?

I figured it out - its just different than i would expect - Ithought the conversion would be automatic.  But it seems when I "receive" the product - I thought I could say 1 box - and when I clicked save/receive - it would store it inventory as 300.

Instead I just manually say there's 300 items in the 1 box that I ordered.  Personally Ithink this defeats the purpose of UoM since you're doing the math yourself.
