We are currently setting up our webshop in Odoo, but about 1/3 of the product pages is not available anymore when in Editor view.

If I navigate to a product page (in my case to see SEO settings), I get an error message. 
No idea how to solve this...


xxx-cv.odoo.com has too many redirects.


UncaughtClientError > TypeError

Uncaught Javascript Error > Cannot read properties of null (reading 'body')

Hi Steven,

This usually happens due to a redirect loop or a broken website page record.

Please check the following:

  1. Website → Configuration → Pages: search for the affected product URLs and make sure there are no duplicate pages or wrong redirects set.

  2. Website → Configuration → Settings: verify Domain / Base URL is correct and not redirecting between www / non-www or http / https.

  3. Clear cache and disable custom themes or website apps temporarily to confirm it’s not a JS/theme issue.

  4. If on Odoo Online, try Reset Website Editor from Settings.

In most cases, fixing the redirect or removing the corrupted page record resolves the “too many redirects” and editor error.

In Odoo Website, this error usually happens because the product page is entering a redirect loop or failing to return valid HTML when loaded inside the editor iframe. The “too many redirects” message indicates that the page is bouncing between URLs (often due to a broken slug, duplicate URL, SEO redirect rule, unpublished product, or website/company mismatch), and when the editor tries to load it, the iframe receives no proper document body—leading to the JavaScript error “Cannot read properties of null (reading 'body')”. Since only some products are affected, they likely share a common issue such as imported slugs, incorrect website assignment, custom redirects, or access restrictions. Checking the product’s published status, website field, URL/slug consistency, and any configured redirects typically resolves the problem.
