Check all advanced network settings. IP and server settings. Also, check the port settings.

First check the services running on Server using below Command:

systemctl status odoo.service # Command for Centos7

if service status show failed then check the logs of service or start service

systemctl start odoo.service

Also, check if default port of Odoo is open and listening on server using below command

netstat -plnt | grep ':8069'

Check Odoo service status by.

sudo service odoo-server status

         Show o/p like:

               odoo-server.service - LSB: Enterprise Business Applications
               Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/odoo-server; bad; vendor preset: enabled)

        IF Not.

                sudo service odoo-server start

or

ps -aux|grep openerp

     shows o/p llike:

              odoo     22269  1.4  4.3 2064484 717676 ?      Sl   Nov08  84:59 python /opt/odoo/odoo-server/openerp-server -c /etc/odoo-server.conf

             (22269 is process_id)

or

ps -aux|grep odoo

     shows o/p llike:             

                odoo     22269  1.4  4.3 2064484 717676 ?      Sl   Nov08  84:59 python /opt/odoo/odoo-server/openerp-server -c /etc/odoo-server.conf

if all of this give output none then your odoo server is not start

        please start it

        sudo service odoo-server start

IF you found there service is running

        then kill that process by using process id

        sudo kill -9 process_id

        And

        Start Server Again

Make sure you are connecting through the correct ports, `http://website.com:8069`,

If that is not the case, check Odoo is it running or not. You can use the following command:

"systemctl status odoo", in the output, you should see the following line "Active: active (running) since...".

If not, try to read logs line to see if any error appear.

Also, you should now try to start odoo by the following command:

"systemctl start odoo".

If you start to see "Access denied" message, append the command "sudo" to both of the previous commands:

• sudo systemctl status odoo

• sudo systemctl start odoo

Then check the interface again.

If that was not the case, then we need to investigate further.

When you issue the command "systemctl status odoo", do you see any `logs` output ? can you append it here.

Also, mentiong the name of your server distribution might help.

HI Saitam I agree with Hussam : if you are getting that in Firefox is because somehow you are not accessing the Odoo web server.

The first thing to check is: is the service running?

You can do so by using htop. It is a tool to monitor services and other stuff.

Open a ssh session on your server, downnload and install it:

$ sudo apt-get install htop

Then launch :

$ htop

Do you see services related to postgresql and  services related to Odoo? YYou can press F5 key to see all the service tree..

Check the log for any errors.

Sometimes, the filestore (a.k.a attachment) wouldn't be available probably due to permission or lose, which will lead to such problem, hence do cross-check the log for errors to know the exact cause.
