I saw a lot of unanswered questions for this fundamental point: how to move from a dev platform to a production platform?
In clear, on Odoo 15 how to clean up database and delete running data (test data) ?
I want to transfert :
without invoices, payments, journal entries, stocks, accounting, ...

We are indeed using the Community Edition.
I understand this "classic" method. I thought that a more evolutionary solution existed.
For a product as advanced as Odoo, this is surprising.
What we do is have a dummy base which is a copy of the real database, and gets regularly updated. That way we can try as much as we want on the 2ndary database and not mess our data up. This is of course on Community Edition, so if you are on Enterprise... I don't know what the solution would be.
