So we sell refrigeration parts for multiple manufaucturers. One has 20k items and when I turn them on for the website the shop will no longer load. Anyone have a way were it doesn't try to load everything at once? I have prestashop currently running it and it doesn't have any problems were it takes 5min to load a page.

eCommerce page depends on different content.
- Check your images size and if it is big try to upload reduced size of images of product on eCommerce to avoid such issues.
(In most of the cases product images + product extra images creates loading issue)
- Check your pricelist, is it properly configured ? (in most of times it will not creates issue in loading but some complex rules in pricelist may take some time.)
When you go to shop on the website it will take 5+ min to load.
did you modify or add any query to filter products on load? it seems like there is somewhere a bad query somewhere. seems like database is struggling

Do you mean by importing them to the database or load that amount of items in the same page?
My POs and website have around the same 20k skus and no loading time issue with a simple desktop (V8 and V10)
When you are logged in as admin can you browse your shop?
Here is my test server, everything loads fast until you go to shop.

Iv deleted my photos, pricelist and is still the same load times. Not sure were else to look.
