Restaurant POS in the dominican republic. Can I setup invoicing of my products that it charge automatically the 18% ITBIS and 10% legal tip without doing it product by product.

All products will be charge with product prize + 18% itbis (tax) + 10% legal tip = total bill

normal i have to do it product by product because only 18% Tax will by default added.

 Hi,

Please try below configurations

  • Create a group of Tax including 18% itbis (tax) + 10% legal tip as 18 % and 10 % Tip.

  • Then Create a Fiscal Position

    1. In Tax mapping --> In Tax on Product as  18% itbis (tax) and In Tax to Apply as
      18% itbis (tax) + 10% legal tip

  • Assign the newly created Fiscal position in POS Configure as Default Fiscal position.
    • Go to Configuration --> Point of sale --> Choose the POS and assign default Fiscal Position

Hi,

Rather than going and doing one by one, you can ease the process by adding a server action for the same from the user interface, so that you can select the records and on clicking a button, all the products will be updated.


For creating a server action navigate to Settings -> Technical, here you will see a menu named server action, Once you create a server action and add it in more button, you can get a new action in action button of corresponding model. Just see the video and see whether it will be helpful or not :  Add Contextual Action Using Server Action To Ease Your Work In Odoo
