- Go to the Time Off app.
- Find the time off request you want to correct.
- If the time off is in the "Draft" or "To Approve" state, you may be able to directly edit the duration to the correct amount.
- If the time off is already approved, you might need to reset it to draft (if you have the rights) or cancel and create a new one.
- Creating a Deduction Time Off Request:
- If you cannot directly edit the original time off, create a new time off request.
- Set the "Time Off Type" to a type that represents a deduction or correction (you might need to create a new time off type for this purpose, e.g., "Time Off Correction").
- Enter a negative value for the number of days or hours to deduct the excess time. For example, if the employee was incorrectly assigned 8 hours of vacation, enter -8 hours.
- Explain the reason for the deduction in the description.
- Submit the time off request and have it approved.

You can deduct the extra time off by adjusting the employee’s approved allocation.
Try to follow the steps.
1- Selected approved time off of an employee. Click on the 'Refuse' button
2- Then Click on 'Reset' Button.
3- Edit the needful changes.
4- Approve the changes.
