Hi

We sell a product that is a seasonal and we only order a certain number of products and never order that product again. How to I set Odoo up so as to,


1. Not sell more products than I have. 

2. Have the product that it can never be reordered again .


Currently the system allows us to input a value greater than the stock we hold as it assumes we will be ordering the product again.

1. Remove the Vendor from the Purchase Tab on the Product. Without this information, Odoo cannot auto-generate a Purchase Order for it:


2. Add a "Blocking Message" under "Warning when Purchasing this Product" (same tab) so that Users cannot manually generate a Purchase Order for it:


3. Add a "Warning" under "Warning when Selling this Product" (Sales tab) so that Users are informed to check the Stock levels before confirming the Sales Order:



4. If you are also selling Online, un-check this box on the Product (Sales tab) and enter an Out-of-Stock Message:
