Hi everybody,

I'm new to Odoo, I just freshly joined a new company using Odoo as ERP and I would have some questions :

Basically we are using Odoo enterprise right now, we had a project of moving to Odoo community but it is now aborded.

Still our database has been created by an Odoo partner that we will call society A.

Society A is still the Administrator of our Odoo database, since they created the project, the database, etc, then delivered it. Is there any way to become independent from them ? Like becoming our own projet managers since we don't use their services anymore .
For example, our project repertory is still linked as /SocietyA/OurSociety we would like to become /OurSociety/ directly

Also we asked a company (Society B) to develop for us a module and we would like to create a project similar to what society A did, so we could give the access we want to the society B like society A did for us.

Finally Society B needs us to duplicate our whole database, so they could push it to Odoo community and work on what we asked them. I did download a backup and send it to them, but they answered that it is difficult (impossible ?) to push a backup from odoo.sh. to Odoo CE. Do you have any idea about how we could do it ?

My main priority is to keep our datas safe and to grant the minimum access to any service provider that we would contract.
