I have trying to find a solution to my situation.
Actually, I want to manage the manufacturing part of clothes. My company provides all raw materials (fabrics, accessories, listed in the BOM) to a subcontractor that make the clothes. This subcontractor charge per unit made, and I would like to put this cost in the BOM.
Maybe this is not the correct way to do it, so if there is a better solution, I am open to any solution.

You can achieve clean subcontracting flow in manufacturing out of the box since Odoo has the new inventory management solution.

In this example I have taken an example I have include the cost of the production in product (tabletop) also when will receive the vendor bill (service bill) I will encode the same, which will create my expense (but you can change the accounts which will increase your inventory valuation) if you set Automated stock valuation.

Hi Baiju, Yes the cost is decided with the subcontractor before starting the production.
I think you can add an extra tab in manufacturing order to compute extra cost. This is a suggestion, with a clear discussion we can get better ideas.
