Hi, 

Our current partner suggests that we shouldn't use Studio, as it might affect the data base. Partner suggest making all the mods via code.

Any comments or thoughts on the matter, as we see Studio as a great tool, but feel constrained that we shouldn't use it.

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages.


Odoo Studio is an excellent and user-friendly tool; however, it does come with its limitations.


For instance, if we consider a scenario where there are two databases, Testing and Production. Any modifications made through Odoo Studio in the 'Testing database' remain specific to that particular database. These changes do not automatically propagate to other databases, including the production environment.


In the event that you wish to implement the changes you've applied in the Testing database to the Production database, this process requires manual intervention. You would need to replicate the same changes in the Production environment.
