How to I create a rule or a tick box option that allows me to "allocate" stock to a order that has been paid so that it does not get used on other orders coming into the system.
We have products that are made in rages and we only order in a limited amount of stock per range.
Order S01 is first in the system, paid for however the customer only wants the stock in 6 months time.
Order S02 comes in second , is paid for however the customer wants a delivery date in 3 months time.
Odoo uses the delivery date and then "allocates" stock to the order with the closest delivery date which causes problems when you have numerous orders for the same product in the system for different dates.
What can I do or create to allow me to allocate a set amount of stock to a order so that it cannot be used on another order with a closer delivery date.
We are currently using Odoo 15
