Hi all,
We're evaluating Odoo at the moment (saas-16.2+e), and one of the items we need to resolve is how we can continue to use our existing Square POS systems for in person sales, and have the individual transactions reconciled into Odoo as sales transactions, updating income account, product sales volumes and deducting sold items from inventory etc.
Is there an existing integration that could perform this automatically on a schedule, or is this something that would need some customisation to get working?

Hi Jonathan. No, no answers on this one as yet. I haven't started looking for my own answers yet either, as I'm just getting the Accounts module up first so I can throw out our current solution. It is still something I will need to resolve in the back half of the year, so when I come up with a workable solution I'll post back here.
Hi Jonathan. I haven't found anything useful for this, and so that I can start accounting for Square Revenue/COGS/Deposits as quickly as possible my current plan is to (a) Create an Odoo customer for Square, (b) Run a Square transaction export at the end of each day, (c) Import the Square transactions as an Odoo sales order for the Square customer. I can then reconcile the Square bank deposits against the sales orders, with Square fees booked to an expense account.
I haven't investigated the Odoo POS app as yet, so there may be a better way to solve this that way, but right now I need to account for this income stream and don't have the bandwidth to get across the POS app.
