hello everybody,

I'm using odoo 12 for the first time with unbuntu 18.04

i try to send a "Purchase order" and i get this error: Wkhtmltopdf a échoué (code d'erreur : -8). Message : b''

- My release is unbuntu 18.04.1 LTS code name bionic

- Odoo version 12.0 (CE)

version : wkhtmltopdf 0.12.5 (with patched qt)

I tried this version : 0.12.1, 0.12.4
sudo cp /usr/local/bin/wkhtmltoimage /usr/bin/wkhtmltoimage
sudo cp /usr/local/bin/wkhtmltopdf /usr/bin/wkhtmltopdf

somebody can help me because i havent clues

Bonjour et Merci Xavier,

J'avais un doute sur la version de l'os et puis j'ai réinstallé complètement.

ça fonctionne parfaitement désormais, merci de ton aide.

It's a known issue. You shouldn't use the wkhtmltopdf package from Ubuntu. Odoo recommend the wkhtmltopdf 0.12.1 version, see this document :

You can download a working binary package from https://builds.wkhtmltopdf.org/0.12.1.3/
