Purchase Requisition now shows up as "Call for Bids", and is designed to handle the bidding process (aka Request For Tenders)

Perhaps this should be renamed because a Purchase Requisition does not match what this module does: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purchase_requisition

What I am looking for is a Request for Purchase (RFP) module (aka Purchase Requisition as described by Wikipedia). In my case we have employees who want to order a something either for a project or as a consumable office supply (and Supplier is not manditory). In either case we don't go through the bidding process, but we do force all the purchases be done by the purchasing officer. So the employees log a request for the item(s) to be purchased, and the purchasing dept. ensures that we use our preferred suppliers, consolidates requests for the same supplier etc... There exists such modules already ac_purch_request and ac_purch_request_pa, although they may require modification. (YMMV).
