hello, we are testing OODO for our company, and we need all projects to have the same columns (something like: production, quality check, etc..). I am searching tutorials and we are instructed to create a "template project" with the fields and create the projects from that one (which makes sense). The problem I have is that we won't be creating projects from the project tab but projects are coming from the sales tab, so we can't use that methodology. Do you have any advice for us? (I am sorry if this is very obvious, we just started the testing yesterday and we are not in the IT field) Thank you!
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Hello Gabriela,
You can use the 'template project' methodology.
You have to fill in the Project Template on your product so that when you confirm a sale order it either creates a new blank project based on the template or a new project with a task.
In Odoo, you can set default columns for projects by going to the "Projects" menu, selecting "Configuration" and then "Settings." Under the "Projects" tab, you can select the default columns you want to be displayed in the project kanban view. You can also customize the kanban view by adding or removing columns, and reordering them as desired.
