Hello,

I have created a field product no in my products form and a sequence and an automation rule to generate the sequence on save. However, each time I create a product, it is increasing by 10. For e.g, if the next number is 1, the next sequence becomes PRD000011. I don't know how it is doing that.

Hi,

Just add an line of code to check if the field have value already or not, and if only there is value write into the record.

So just change the code as follows:

if not record.field_name:
      record['field_name'] =  #get sequence value
