hi,

I was wondering if there's any possibility to use a different logo (by selecting which logo to use) in the header for Quotations.

It's basically 1 company but with 2 or more trade names. So in the Quotations it would be preferred that the logo is that of the trade name (rest of business information stays the same). On the invoice it will always be the company logo and invoice numbering will be shared by the 2.

Is this possible with Odoo (in Dolibarr you can select which template you want to generate the document with)? Or would I be needing to write custom code for this? Any pointers where to start?

I think, by default there is option to make it, you can create a custom code to select the logo during the printing or create different templates with different logos and print accordingly

I found the OCA Brand add-on but it doesn't seem to accomplish what I'm trying.

I can create a brand and select it for a sale however when printing the same logo is printed.

The OCA "brand" git repo is a solution for my problem.

Install both the brand modules and the reporting module from that git repo (There's no dependency so you have to do it manually). If you don't you will be able to create brands and select them with your SO, ... but it will not be on your documents.
