We are trying to resolve an issue where a small handful of our Manufacturing Orders cannot be closed or cancelled, and a small handful of our Delivery Orders cannot be delivered.

Both of these items are disrupting our forecasting data for our products. The "stuck" orders are also hindering/preventing new manufacturing runs from being created as Odoo is reading the products in those orders as reserved. The error is not tied to a single specific product so it seems to be a larger issue than something being wrong with the product itself. In both instances, we receive the same error message "it is not possible to unreserve more of (Insert Product Here) than you have in stock."

We've worked out that the inability to produce and our forecasting inaccuracies are tied back to this issue but unfortunately can't seem to cancel or produce the MOs and DOs that are causing this issue.

Multiple members of our staff have tried every trick we know to clear this MO but every time we try something, we get the following message as attached below "It is not possible to unreserve more products of [ap_butterfly_weed] Butterfly Weed Seeds (Art Pack) than you have in stock." I've also tried changing the quantity of the product referenced in the error message, from the correct 80 units, up to 500 units. But it makes no difference.

We then attempted  to physically produce more product to properly close the lingering MOs. When we produced more products, however, we were still unable to close the corresponding MOs.

With the 20 or so DOs that are stuck, they are for products that we had in stock and are now OOS.  It will not allow me to cancel, validate or ship these orders.

We are essentially looking for guidance on how to cancel/remove/complete/etc these MOs and DOs in some capacity to get our production and forecasting values back on track. So far all efforts to cancel, scrap product, set the consumed and/or reserved amounts to zero, change the amount of product on hand, etc have been unsuccessful. Are you able to identify a workaround for this error message?
