Hi, i have odoo v14 enterprise edition. it was customized using studio. Is there a way to show the item cost along with the actual selling price in the sales report?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting

Hi,
Not sure where you need to add this field, ie, in the sales print out or in the sale report pivot view. I hope it will be in the sale report pivot view.
In both case you can activate the Margin feature from the sales settings, so that in the sale order line and in the sale report pivot view, you can see the margin for that particular line and thus you will get same information from it.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes it is possible to add item cost in the sale order report using Odoo studio. You can select the report and under the ‘Add’ options , from the ‘Tables’ section select ‘Field column’ and drag and drop it into the report template. Then select the related field as Product > Cost. Save and close.
Now the cost of the item will appear in the report.
Regards
How would that be affected by variable costing? Will it pickup the cost price at the time of report generation? or will it have the cost price at the time of sale?
